For what it's worth, CBS just listed UNC as having won 4 championships, appropriately disregarding the Helms Foundation post hoc 1924 championship that seems to be recognized only by Tarheels.

Kudos to CBS - that's a very small start on the road to making up for subjecting us all to Billy Packer for 100!!! final four games. I'm going out on a limb right now and saying that never again will someone so universally disliked by basketball fans have such remarkable staying power in broadcasting.

back in the early 80's when security wasn't so tight, i walked down the aisle at Littlejohn Col during halftime and got billy packer with the "horns" on national TV.... :)
