Since 2000, Duke is 10-0 in the NCAA Tournament on only one day of rest. Undefeated.

Duke is 10-7 on three or more days of rest.

Starting at 2000 conveniently ignore a couple short-rest losses, so let's go back to 1996, when Duke's current NCAA streak started. Duke is 11-2 on short rest, but 13-8 on longer rest.

Discuss.

I don't think that we have tired legs from the entire course of the season.

I do think a major problem is not getting your players any rest during the game. Our team has a major conditioning problem, probably everyone except DeMarcus was huffing and puffing early inthe game.

Scheyer played 25 minutes and shot poorly.
Paulus missed crucial free throw's, many of them short. 38 minutes.
McRoberts missed a game tying free throw, short. 40 freaking minutes.

VCU was pressing the entire game, and Paulus was being hounded the entire time he brought the ball off.
