We turned the boards off yesterday because of a steady flow of negativity and ugliness.

Come on, guys, this is easy to understand: it's okay to be critical, but that doesn't mean you have to be destructively critical. A thoughtful analysis or opinion is always welcome (and mods, after a loss we should try hard to be more tolerant than we usually are - it's important).

Example: saying "in my opinion, a zone would have helped against WVU's inside game."

Bad example: "Duke is too stupid to run a zone when anyone could see it would help."

What we want is a place where people can get along and have fun and share intelligent insights. After a loss, we'd like to have that too, but if it means tolerating insults and incivility, then the heck with it. We don't have to have a board if that's the price.
