Have posted here since 2001 but for a variety of reasons have not posted for a while. Have continued to lurk and read.

It was a disappointing season but who can be surprised?

I note threads are being pulled down tonight, including one by feldspar who is a poster I would like to read.

Absent totally off the wall attacks, I hope the mods will loosen the reins tonight.

We all hope for better times ahead but let's face it; it is the worst season since the mid-90s and in some ways the worst season since 1982. I would like to hear what long time posters think with minimal necessary editorial control.

Looking for good times to come.

We're willing to listen. There's been a lot of irrationality and repetition though.

Repetition can be comforting... I like to know others are of the same ilk tonight.

Me? I could do without 5 threads on "soooo glad to see McRoberts go!", or, "No leadership and no heart!".

I just don't see the value in them.

Criticism should start after a cooling off period or tomorrow. That takes some of the emotion out the frustration.

What Watzone said.

We tried to combine a couple threads, like the duplicates on UNC-EKU.

A better option would be the close the site down for 24 hours.

In philosophy, I agree and I always have. I think about 6 hours after a loss and about 24 after a season-terminal loss or a Carolina loss.

In practice, I can see running a website is about accessibility. J&B would probably lose traffic if they did that.
