A Magic Spell

Sometimes we fans analyze and agonize too much without offering solutions. I, EarlJam, who briefly dated a witch last year (honestly - I found out when using her bathroom and passing by an alter and a ton of witchcraft books. It was the last date), offer up the following spell directed at the Duke team to break the current curse and lead us on to a National Championship:

Rats and bats and things that fly;
Earthly creatures and those up high;
Their life, their spirit combines for power;
To break this dreaded curse this hour.

Lose once, lose twice but nevermore;
Come April we stand on varnished floor;
Behold the witches hair and comb it;
Prepare us for our shining moment.

Greg, DeMarcus, Jon and Kyle;
Strength to go the extra mile;
Gerald, Taylor, Nolan, Lance;
Will all be doing the April Dance.

The gods say listen to what I say;
Charm the minds of Johnny and K;
Make this team like brothers banding;
In April we'll be the last team standing.

Hoogle Doogle! Shizzle Wizzle!
