Looks like Lute Olson is ready to take back the reigns at Arizona (as of next year). Should be a smooth transition because his trusted assistant Kevin O'Neill should gracefully slide over a seat on the bench. Right?
Not so fast cactus breath. Word is that the team now considers itself to be O'Neill's team and that the two coaches will not be able to coexist.
This could be fun to watch. I never thought I would say this, but I almost feel bad for Lute. The beauty of it is that O'Neill is even less likable.
Maybe Indiana will hire Lute for the interim once Sampson is suspended.
