Just thought I'd update everybody on how Duke is ranked by the most important computer services.

Going into Saturday's games, Duke (No. 2 in both polls) is No. 1 in Sagarin, No. 2 in RPI and No. 3 in Pomeroy.

Duke's strength of schedule is No. 7 in RPI, No. 8 in Pomeroy, No. 14 in Sagarin.

Pomeroy also rates Duke as both the No. 5 team in the nation in offensive efficiency and No. 5 in defensive efficiency.

The NCAA Selection Committee uses all of those services, plus they pay a lot of attention to the polls. Obviously, Duke is a No. 1 seed in the Raleigh-Charlotte Region as of today ... and just as obviously that could change in the next month.

Good job with the numbers. Or should I say good job Duke. They have certainly put themselves in good position at this point in the season.
