I didn't see this mentioned anywhere and didn't find it in a search, so I apologize if it was mentioned somewhere. But it's good to see McBob out of the NBDL and back with the Trail Blazers! Happened on Feb 3...

Good for Josh.

Those numbers at the Stampede weren't exactly world beating though - did someone on the Portland roster go down with injury or something?

i think one of their SG/SFs went down, so I dont know if that would impact josh really

on a general note, getting sent down to the D-League is not the "travesty" it used to be anymore. its basically a minor league for a lot of these teams and if used effectively, can be very beneficial to the team and players.

Good for Josh. Maybe he'll erupt for 34 first game back.

I completely missed this as well -- the early reports from the D-League were so scathing I figured Josh would wallow in purgatory indefinitely.

But I'm glad he's back, and it sounds like he got the opportunity to get some minutes the other night, and he did well with them (http://www.oregonlive.com/blazers/oregonian/index.ssf?/base/sports/1202540114272750.xml&coll=7&thispage=2) -- six points, 2 rebounds, in 12 minutes of play. Of course, it was because Portland was getting monumentally embarrassed by the Pistons, but it's good to see Josh getting another chance.
