Now, normally I don't put much credence in anything from anything Fox-related, but since everyone else in the press has us getting stomped by VCU, I thought I should pass these on...
Tips for Winning Your Office Pool runs through all the historical advice for picking brackets (1 seeds never lose in the 1st round, a 12 always beats a 5, yada yada yada). Well, after running through them all and eliminating teams along the way, guess who is left? Would you believe Duke & Georgetown? I'll forgive him for picking the Hoyas in the final...

I said at the beginning of the season "this team isn't as good as '06, but come tourney time, it might be more dangerous." Deeper, more athletic, a couple players actually vaguely resembling a SF, no unbearable pressure on any single player. Assuming the recent chemistry issues are a mirage (Coach K was actually smiling & joking a little in this week's press conference, though Josh seemed mildly annoyed to be there), and the week off re-energizes the defense, and oh yeah, Scheyer has to get hot again...
