The Crazies come armed with many contact lenses. When Hansbrough loses his contact lens, they all throw theirs onto the court. Hansbrough can't figure out which are his, and has to sit out. Duke goes on a 20-2 run capped by a Greg Paulus dunk. Game over.

Quick related trivia question: In The Greatest College Basketball Game Ever Played (the '92 regional final), who lost a contact lens in the first half?

I'll second that!

Man, if Hansblah does make it in the NBA, he's gotta get a call from some contact lens or eyewear company to do some endorsements.

my question is... if it takes him that long to get it back in his eye, why does the game have to stop. if there's an injury and someone has to come ont he court, the player has to go out and be subbed for. if he can't keep them in his eye, he needs to get goggles or the refs and the conference need to make sure that the game isn't stopped just for him. i've not seen anyone else get that kind of preferential treatment so many times already this year.

You don't know how many times I have talked about his contact lenses. That is the funniest thing I have heard in a while. :D

I wonder if it might be more effective to woo away the Southern Coach bus driver who's been driving Carolina (home and away) for the past 18 of 21 years. It's just a matter of paying more, like for football coaches. Having a stranger drive the team to Durham could upset their routine before the game......

That was good for a laugh. Although, in reality the Crazies would just get a technical for throwing stuff on the floor. It might be worth it though. :D

There are only so many players on the team... someone had to get it eventually.

Laxatives are a process of elimination. Not my knowledge of the 92 team.
