It does appear that the ACC as a conference is not as strong as in previous years. Maryland, Va Tech, and Ga Tech look bad. Boston College and Wake Forest don't look good. NC State has had some struggles, and the jury is still out on Miami given that their schedule has been less than impressive so far. FSU and Virginia look mediocre. Only UNC, Duke, and Clemson look like sure-fire tourney-type teams so far. Hopefully, that means we can fatten up on the conference and get a higher NCAA seed.

The ACC really needs to quit playing schools from Pittsburgh. Has anyone scheduled Duquesne? What about CMU? Is Herb Sendek somehow behind this?
