I have a couple of added thoughts for DBR's ACC Roundup:
Not only did Florida State do well shooting free throws in yesterday's game but they have shot free throws well all season. After 16 games, the Noles are shooting a cool 80% from the free throw line and four of their five current starters are doing better than this with Swann shooting 97%. They are hurting for size (smaller than Devils) but they have shooters and ballhandlers.
The Terps won their third in a row and during the last four games Vasquez has shook his shooting slump and is playing like an All ACC guard (21 ppg, 6 apg and 5 rpg in last four games). The problem for the Terps is that they rely entirely on four players. Yesterday, the freshmen and sophs , other than Vasquez and Hayes, played 68 minutes and had a total of 4 points. Unless a couple of them step up soon, the Terps simply don't have enough weapons and will be battling Wake and others for the bottom of the league.
