Does anyone know his status these days? I've been searching the net to see where he's at with his recovery and haven't found anything. While I understand it was an unusually bad ankle injury, it happened over a year ago. Is he still rehabbing or is he just not getting p.t. with the Sixers?

I read that he played a little (actually very little) in at least one game around early Dec.

BTW and FWIW His grandmother on his mother's side (married Ronnie Shavlik) is my cousin. That's as close to sport's fame as I will ever get....:).

I've really been rooting for him and I hope that he hasn't fallen out of favor with the Sixers. Before he was hurt, he seemed to be pleasantly surprising everyone. I also noticed on a Sixers message board there were often a lot of positive comments from the fans. I wish him lots of luck!

It seems like Reddick, McRoberts and Randolph are not playing period I look at box scores and these guys are DNP nearly every game, while Randolph lately doesn't appear at all.And Horford from FLA is taking away pt from Shelden. I don't know what Shav's status is,but losing Billy King as GM may mean he is on borrowed time.

For Josh, Ginger. Shav, Mary Ann. Shav would kick Josh's butt once Josh hurt him.

Shav got 1 minute against the Knicks on 12/7/07
and 4 minutes against the bad Knicks on 12/8/07
Nothing since...

He has 1 rebound, 1 foul, 2 missed shots on the year. I hope he gets an opportunity to get on the court this year; his per-40 minute numbers the past two years have been pretty good.
