I recently saw my friend with a really cool, well made Steelers background on his computer and it made me think "hey, I should have one of those!" Aside from looking around for photos of nice plays and stretching them out, does anyone know of any good wallpapers for Duke basketball?

Also, does anyone have any Firefox themes for Duke. I have a Tennessee Titans one currently but it is time for a change. On Mozilla's web site there is a UNC one but no Duke. Anyone??

Some nice wallpapers for individual players (JJ, JWill, CDu) here:

They've also got some good walls of former Duke players in the NBA and of Team USA here:

I've got a Duke desktop theme. I'm almost certain someone here gave it to me a few years ago.

The wait icon (the hourglass) is a basketball. The My Computer logo is the Blue Devil. The network icon is an outline of the Duke chapel. The recycle bin is the Tar Hole symbol (when there is something in the recycle bin it changes to that same symbol with a diagonal red line through it). My mouse pointer (I prefer to use the pen rather than a traditional pointer) is a blue pen.

"I wish every game was on the road just to see the fans leaving early."

Redick really said that? One of my favorite quotes ever now.

I'm betting the files would be pretty small so send me a PM with your email address and I'll try to email them to you.

I've already had a couple of requests for the files so if anyone else wants them please let me know through the PM feature and I'll try to send them off to everyone either later today (after I finish my Christmas shopping) or sometime tomorrow.

Can you post the file as an attachment here?? Or upload to a website and link to it?? Just suggestions to make it easier on you.

The files were all really small so I emailed them to everyone who has sent me their email address (if anyone else wants them just let me know).

If anyone needs to know how to get these files to replace their current icons just post here and I'll respond with instructions.

using XP, unless you purchase additional software. One option that gets good reviews is Ultra Mon:

http://www.realtimesoft.com/ultramon/

I haven't tried it, however. I seem to remember seeing another dual monitor software package that was free and looked interesting, but I could not use it, for reasons that probably don't apply to anybody else. You might want to do some searching to see what all she could find.

A co-worker recommended this (http://www.binaryfortress.com/displayfusion/) a while back. I haven't played with it much, though.

That sounds like the theme from here -- http://www.themeworld.com/cgi-bin/preview.pl/themes/duke-u.zip -- if anyone wants the theme in its entirety. It's a free download.

Interesting, it looks like the originals were done in Windows 3.1

there is a priceless audio clip included as part of that theme, from the radio broadcast of Hill to Laettner against Kentucky in 1992.

Yes they do. I am using them on both XP (laptop) and Vista (desktop).

Being the genius that I am, I deleted some sent emails so I cannot remember everyone that I sent these files to. If anyone requested them but hasn't received them, just let me know and I'll send them off. If anyone has received them twice, my apologies.
