With Christmas only a week away, what is on the top of everyone's wishlist?

I myself would like to have a GPS unit for the car, or maybe a DVD recorder, or maybe a new golf club, or maybe...This could go on for a while.:)

1. Hey! A GPS is tops on my list too (and Santa tells me I'm getting one).
2. Also tops on my list is a new job. Going in for the third of three interviews with a company tomorrow. If I get the job, I'm buying everyone in the Atlanta mafia multiple drinks and a side item of their choice.

I desperately want tickets to the Masters. And shockingly, the girlfriend came through for me!!!!!!!! I've never been and it's the one sporting event I want to go to more than anything else. I can't wait.

Haha. I'm still a college student trying to save for an engagement ring. I'm getting there, slowly but surely.

On this holiday season,
my best wishes to you,
May you live as long as you wish,
And have all you wish for, long as you live.
These are my holiday wishes for you.

Wishing you more happiness
Than any word can tell,
Not just alone for the holiday and Christmas
But throughout the year as well.

And may you never remember
What is best forgotten
And never forget
What is worth remembering

This is the one that makes me drool - though it is far beyond my needs or means.

Prosletyzing the virtues of a Canon camera to a Nikon guy? You might as well try to get me to start rooting for unc.

Seriously, you may want to check out the 5D if you haven't already. The Nikon D300 is 99% the same camera as the much more expensive D3 and has 100% of the image quality. I would assume the 5D is the same way versus the 1DS.

I shoot with Canon, although I also own film Nikons and Canons. I like the 5D too, but alas, I can't afford it right now. I primarily shoot musicians (classical, jazz, and bluegrass). Because I am shooting low light most of the time (sans flash), I have been investing in lenses rather than camera bodies. I like the Nikons but, as you know, once you make a decision to go in one direction with lenses, you kinda get committed to one brand. And, when all is said and done, the bodies I use are (within reason, of course) less important than the lenses. But you guys know that.

Right now, I am using my old 10D. I will probably splurge for 5D before too long however; unless something better comes along.

Also, the 1D is the weapon of choice for a lot of my sports photography colleagues. And, were I doing that sort of thing, I would go with it.

EarlJam LOVES his oysters with all these ingredients! Loves them!

How about crab legs dipped in a hot butter, hot sauce, lemon and pepper mixture?

Awesome.
