Head's up:

ESPN College Football live just went to commercial with, "Coming up next, we speak with Duke's new coach and ask him why he wanted to go to a program with 4 wins in 4 seasons."

Paraphrasing the phone interview, maybe three minutes:

Q Why so intriguing?
A ... I like challenges, I'm looking forward to this challenge...

Q What is possible?
A Better stadium, great location, great university. Hunger to win. Players are hungry, administration is hungry, I'm hungry.

Q Recruiting, how do you convince them to Duke? Considering academic standards?
A Duke degree to convince parents, gotta believe in me and the staff. How much fun is it to turn a program around?

Thoughts from a talking head:

This is one of the best hires of the offseason so far. Remember what happened to him at Ole Miss?! No hungrier coach in America than Cut. Hurt because he was let go at Ole Miss? They're gonna be competitive pretty quickly.

That's not so much a cut as it is a legitimate question.

Edit: Whoops, nevermind. I guess "Cut" can have multiple meanings when the coach's name is Cutcliffe. :)
