ACC press release

"GREENSBORO, NC—The Atlantic Coast Conference has awarded its future Football Championship Games to Tampa Bay and to Charlotte, John Swofford, the Commissioner of the ACC, announced Wednesday.

Swofford announced that the league has awarded its football title game to Tampa Bay for the 2008 and 2009 seasons and to Charlotte for the 2010 and 2011 seasons. The decision was reached unanimously Wednesday morning on a conference call of the league’s athletics directors and faculty athletics representatives which culminated a seven-month bid and selection process which began last June."

2010 should be enough time for Duke to make the title game. Make your plans.

Yea, he should have talked to Cut;). I think I read an article in the Raleigh N&O recently that discussed the recruitment of Brandon Connette and Cut "promised" him he'd be playing in an ACC Championship within 5 years of his recruitment. I think he or Cut quipped that he was getting pretty close to the end of his "guarantee.";)
