Anyone think he's being groomed to be an assistant when/if Wojo or Collins get a head coaching job.

I thought so too, but then wondered: think he's being groomed for sports administration? Think he could be a good A.D. some day?

Cheers,

I can see him now going against Duncan. He had a lot of heart.

Me too, Jumbo. It is good for my heart to see hard work and dedication rewarded with, seeming from his words, fulfilling success.

and... to think... Chris may have just "turned around" and not stay at Duke. My recollection of the story was that Chris drove down Towerview in his old, battered Chevy (I think) and saw all the BMW's, etc lined the road, and he was ready to turn around and go home, thinking that he didn't "belong". Well, as they say, the rest is history. What a great story for Chris:)

What a welcome addition. I heard about this in Maui, and thought it one of the better administrative moves the university has made recently. whatever it is that C-well is being groomed for, I would bet on his success. I remember him guarding Duncan, and crying when coming off the court for the last time. The heart of a champion.

I can see, and hear, him popping his shoulder back into its socket - on the court. A lot of heart doesn't begin to describe what Chris has.

Welcome home, Chris!

What a wonderful hire!! I see him more as an administrator -- and a damn good one! Looking forward to his development at Duke. CHRIS -- Welcome back. ....and keep on keeping on with your summer ball with Nate James.

Awesome. Dukemom-- of daughter & son-in-law, class of 2001. (I'm not supposed to share this, but they're having a new Dukie in June) GO DUKE

I've long thought that Chris or Nate (or both) would be superb candidates to join the coaching staff when Wojo or Chris Collins inevitably move on to head coaching jobs elsewhere.

It's great to see both of them still involved with the program.

Carrawell back in Durham? Awesome.

If you're out there C-Well, it's great to have you back.

It was pretty touching to see him bring his mother out to mid court and thank her for everything she had done for him growing up in St. Louis. From that point on he has been one of my favorite Dukies.

C-Well is the best, very glad to have him back as well.

Here's a gread link to some of C-Well's best quotes. My favorite about Stevie Franchise - "I know he doesn't feel like he got shut down. But he did."
