I've got that song, "Sister Golden Hair" in my head and can't shake it.

Anyone else out there been stuck with an ear worm today?

Give me a break
Give me a break
Break me off a piece of that KIT KAT BAR.

There ... I feel better.

Cheers,

I was trying to get out of my head that insane Hasselhoff German "Silent Night," and the Kit Kat Bar theme worked ... albeit too successfully.

My apologies TG.

When Sister Christian pops in my mind, it leaves pretty quickly if I start thinking of Fleetwood Mac's TUSK.

Sorry.

Don't know that tune, but I gather from Wilson's tag line I'm not missing anything.

EJ, it's your fault I have SC in my head. I started singing it the minute I read your initial post on the thread.

I have the radio on playing Christmas songs and am trying very hard to block out all the songs mentioned in this thread.

"Chocolate Rain" by internet personality Tay Zonday.
6 months later and I'm still being haunted the sound of a singing Darth Vader with a casio keyboard.

Why do you build me up (build me up)
Buttercup baby just to let me down (let me down)
And mess me around
And then worst of all (worst of all)
You never call, baby, when you say you will
But I love you still
I need you (I need you)
More than anyone darling
You know that I have from the start
So build me up (build me up)
Buttercup, don't break my heart

A little tangent, but of the same vein. I started reading Harry Potter (Book 1) a couple of months ago and am now on Book 5. Other than DBR and some magazines once in awhile, I haven't read anything else for pleasure. All Harry Potter, all the time. I have begun to dream about Harry Potter at night and think about it during the day. I can't wait to get on the train for my commute home so I can read Harry Potter. I've stopped watching all but a few shows on TV so I can read in the evening after my kids go to bed. I am so totally engrossed and immersed in the fantasy of this book that I'm afraid I'm going to be depressed when I finally finish Book 7.

There are really good self-medication options you might wish to explore.:D

Somebody mentioned "chocolate rain" so now I've got that stupid lightfoot song running through my head. Plus, Fleetwood Mac started "landslide" bouncing around in there. And "Sister Christian" got "Rock in America" going. And freakin' Harry Potter's singing all this crap with Liam Neeson and Keira Knightley on background vocals eating kit kat bars while slamming egg nog! I hate you people!*

*Chocolate Rain, Lightfoot, Fleetwood Mac, Landslide, Sister Christian, Rock in America, Harry Potter, kit kat are all owned by their appropriate corporations. All rights reserved.

Keira Knightley, Liam Neeson, and egg nog appear courtesy of "Love Actually".

"hate" is merely a term used for emphasis. I really don't hate you guys at all. Man my mind is exhausted from all this multitasking. :p
