Wake Forest-Iowa game thread

wake looking decent in the first 10 min. i have to admit, i don't know much about their personnel this year, but the front court people look long and skilled. the team seems willing (so far) to get after it defensively, but also very will to hoist up treys.

Wake's weakness this year is going to be size and depth up-front and the lack of a consistent 3 point shooter. However, they have some very athletic players including LD Williams, Ish Smith, and two talented freshmen in James Johnson and Jeff Teague. Coach Gaudio seems to have made defense a priority which is something that has kept Wake from advancing far into the tourney in the past. Should be a fun, up-tempo game when they play us.

If the ESPN box is to be believed, the two teams combined to shoot 3-30 from long range. The rims probably have dents in them.
