The New York Post has a story today that Andrew Giuliani, son of the former NYC Mayor, is considering entering politics.

I thought I remember he was a student at Duke and played on the golf team; but it ended badly.

Despite some hi-jinks as a youth (as in his Dad's mayoral inauguration, he was a recruited golfer (I demand names dates, places!). He didn't make the traveling squad after a couple of years and was later dismissed from the team. I understand there were issues with teammates (and I am sure with the coaches). He sued Duke for damages to his future PGA career -- after failing to make the cut for, at best, a top 20 team. Duke went "all-lawyer, all the time" and didn't issue any statements. The suit was dismissed.

Duke has five-six players with some kind of status on the PGA tour -- that's over a period of 20 years! Streelman is in his 40's. You can't make the Duke golf team, your PGA prospects are pretty dim.
