Anyone know the significance of the black stripe on the jerseys tonight?

Sorry if this is mentioned in one of the threads, I looked through and didn't see it.

All the ACC teams are wearing the black stripe in honor of the Virginia Tech victims. If you notice, all the football teams did the same thing, but the basketball teamss have put it in different places on their jerseys. All ACC schools have them in remembrance of the murders at VT. They're in a different spot for different schools. I think UNC has them on the back above the player name.

What's up with the patch on Nolan's arm? Is it to cover up a tatoo?

They have a duel purpose, also for the passing of Skip Prosser. I must say that it is a little weird, to have a successful coach pass away and to have little or no mention of him at all during ACC games. I would hope that schools are doing something when Wake comes to town, a moment of silence or something:confused:
