Very interesting article. Interesting to contemplate the effect of Zion last year on the team this year.

Without a doubt, last year's team was the least hated Duke team in... Twenty years?

^ Interesting that you pointed that out... I recently re-read an article former Syracuse player Etan Thomas wrote last year about how Duke became "Black America's most hated team", but also how that had evolved.

Here's the link if you're interested.

Etan Thomas weighs in on everything that bothers him fairly regularly on DC's radio station WPFW.

A lot of things bother him. And he writes tiresome bad poetry.

Not a fan.

But thanks for posting bullett, no offense meant towards you.

A decent article but he must not have seen Michael Dunleavy, Jr play at Duke. The writer put him in a long list(his) of decorated African-American players that played at Duke.

GoDuke!

The ESPN article is a really good assessment of our team's arc so far this year. A nice nuanced piece. The Etan Thomas piece is really good, too.

None taken at all. And thank you for the post, I didn't know he was a regular on that station.

Wasn't just while he was at Duke, pretty sure he's not been Africa-American his whole life!

Maybe he identifies as . . . Oh, never mind.
