I am a real fan of Jordan Goldwire and figured his stats were actually fairly impressive...in conference he has the 2nd highest 3PT % behind Javin’s 50% (1 of 2) at 45.2% (14 of 31). He averages 4.6 total shots per game, so if you extrapolate out to 13 shots per game, he would average 16.32 pts per game (at his current percentages).
I know this isn’t totally scientific, but to me it shows that he is capable of scoring 10-15 pts per game if he would take a few more shots. And, yes, he was only 3 for 9 against NCSU, but Jones was only 6 of 18. Plus, against FSU and ND, Goldwire was 9 of 10 including 4 of 4 from 3...I say, let him shoot more, not less!
