Who was Duke's Man of the Match in their win over Carolina tonight?

I think I'm going to have to abstain. The answer is obviously Tre, but he just made so damn many bad decisions and took some truly awful/ill-advised shots.

Tangentially, Carey probably doesn't get another MotM from me until he can stay under 4 fouls.

When all hope seemed lost, Jones brought Duke back. Obviously the MOTM. Loved how he referenced Tyus Stones!

Tre had multiple heroic moments. So i went with him. He didn't get an assist for Moore's bucket, but he shoulda been credited with 7, vs 11-24 FGs. Dude was a dagger down the stretch.

Of course by the law of DBR, it can never be unanimous. And I am grateful that Wendell Moore hit the winning shot. But without Tre, that doesn't happen.

Definitely Tre for me. He scored 15 straight points for us lated in regulation and early in OT!

Go Duke!!!!

I was screaming at K two minutes into OT, "Tre is exhausted. Give him a breather!" He gave his all and is now a Duke legend. Stones 2!

Duke has issues, but to beat kyrlina in OT on a buzzer beater at the dump in a historically bad season is the ultimate gut punch for their irritating fans. GTHC GTH!!! (3 ! for Tre)

Whoops. I ruined it.

To me, Moore was so consistent, so good, so smart.

He only took 8 shots, scored 17, added 10 rebounds, and played really good D. And he avoided fouling.

Tre's decision making the whole game was superb. He planned everything for unc's ultimate humiliation. The last miss was planned so that unc would not get a final shot. (I'll just trot my ___ out of here.)

I voted for the guy that airballed the hell out of it, because he also saved our butts.

Tre... He planned everything for unc's ultimate humiliation...

Yeah I was shocked but that's what he did.

Ok, fine Tre it is. Someone has got to tell him to chill with those awful 3s though!

Tre closed it out but without Carey in the first half we are down 25 at halftime.

I’m curious why Wendell Moore and Wendell Moore Jr both got votes. I can see the argument for Jr. but what did Sr do to get a vote?

Yeah but he has to learn to stop fouling.

Sired Wendell Jr, obviously.

Sired Wendell Jr, obviously.

Fair point, but he didn’t do that during the game. Or if he did, I didn’t see it.

Tre obviously for MOTM, but how prescient by JD King to feature a pic of Wendell Moore Jr. in his front page game preview.

Genius.

Tre all the way. The Stones run deep in that family.

Voted for Tre but everyone contributed to a very big win. I like the 10 man rotation and I like the open lane for drives to the basket. GoDuke!

NO!!

Clearly it was Jon Scheyer

He's the one the told Stones to practice banging it off the rim and sliding over to his right.

They think of EVERYTHING!!

Amazing foresight to even suggest practicing such a shot. But Tre said that every time they practiced that "miss", it always bounced the same way. So he was READY...

We obviously loved Moore's follow. But if people vote for Moore, I think they should really vote for Keeling. Watching the replay over and over, it's so clear that he went brain-dead, just ball watched and didn't look for anyone to put his body on! Moore just sails right past him. What a mistake. I'd love to be in the film room when Ol' Roy runs the tape over and over on this one!

Jones (the Stones are strong on this one) will obviously win MOTM, but someone has to come in a distant second. Moore's worthy.

Can I vote for the free throw line as MOTM?

Tre Stones Jones. I didn't even realize he had 28 points until after the game. I take back everything I yelled at him and the rest of the team now.

Moore didn't just get the follow...he made THE tap out......that started the entire sequence. He made two fantastic plays in that 6 seconds.....

Why do we have Wendell Moore and Wendell Moore Jr...and no Alex? I see Wendell leads Wendell Jr 2-1.

Not to mention playing 30 minutes a week after coming back from injury, and totaling 17 points and 10 rebounds.

Wendell Moore did seem to everywhere in overtime. Is that why he is listed twice in the poll?

Tre Jones, was easily the MOTM. But he was far from perfect, we had some clunky stuff for 4/5 of this game.

Wow, this is history. Father/Son playing together in a college basketball game.
