On this date 8 years ago, Roy Williams left 5 walk-ons on the court so the rest of his team wouldn't have to be there for a court storming when Florida State beat UNC by 33.

Always funny to hear the commentators passing along that it was Hamilton's suggestion. Ha! To anyone with eyes it was clear as day that Roy wanted and requested it and then Hamilton went along with it. But hey, anything to preserve the "Carolina Way" dignity... cough... cough...

Roy is a good coach (usually), but he says and does some really odd things.

He may or not be a good coach, but one thing's for sure he cheated for many of his wins. Both at uncheat and Kansas. And he really does do and say a lot of odd/stupid things. :cool:
