I did not see a thread on this, so I thought I should start one, as the ACC teams start playing bowl games tomorrow.

Quick Lane Bowl – Pitt vs. Eastern Michigan (Dec. 26, 8 p.m., ESPN)
Military Bowl Presented by Northrop Grumman – North Carolina vs. Temple (Dec. 27, Noon, ESPN)
New Era Pinstripe Bowl – Wake Forest vs. Michigan State (Dec. 27, 3:20 p.m., ESPN)
Playstation Fiesta Bowl – No. 3 Clemson vs. No. 2 Ohio State (Dec. 28, 8 p.m., ESPN)
Camping World Bowl – Notre Dame vs. Iowa State (Dec. 28, 12 p.m., ABC)
Franklin American Mortgage Music City Bowl – Louisville vs. Mississippi State (Dec. 30, 4 p.m., ESPN)
Capital One Orange Bowl – Virginia vs. Florida (Dec. 30, 8 p.m., ESPN)
Belk Bowl – Virginia Tech vs. Kentucky (Dec. 31, Noon, ESPN)
Tony the Tiger Sun Bowl - Florida State vs. Arizona State (Dec. 31, 2 p.m., CBS)
Birmingham Bowl – Boston College vs. Cincinnati (Jan. 2, 3 p.m., ESPN)

If Clemson advances, they play for the national championship January 13 at 8pm on ESPN.

Independence Bowl is ongoing and commentators highlighted speculation that Miami and Offensive Coordinator Dan Enos are expected to part ways once the game is complete.

It is the time of year when lots of head coaches are looking to make improvements on their staff.

Looks like he "departed" before the game even started.

Curious if Diaz/Miami are looking from within the ACC Coastal to hire a new OC?

Pitt looking good, so far; down 10 -0 in the 1Q.

Pitt survives Eastern Michigan 34-30 despite being 11 point favorites. QB gets tossed for fighting, was hoping for some 'Pitchy-pitchy-woo woo" on their last play. H2P!

Are we even sure Diaz will be there? They might be looking for a new HC soon.

QB gets tossed for fighting...

To clarify, it was the Eastern Michigan QB who was tossed.

Would have been disastrous day for ACC to lose a pair to non P5 teams....especially the U getting shut out.

And he clipped the referee with a punch, and he was knocked flat.

He clipped the referee's hat brim. Ref sold it with the flop. ;)

Anyone else feel disgust that the cheats are representing the ACC in the Military Bowl?

Wake Forest vs Michigan State about to kick off. Let’s Go Deacs. A conference win over the Big Ten would be nice.

Wake draws first blood with a 7 play 65 yard TD drive. Wake ran the ball 6 times and then went over the top with a TD pass.

They made it look easy.

No surprise. They made it look easy in Winston-Salem when they played us, too.

Sigh, this bowl season will be further evidence that outside of Clemson, ACC football is now the worst of the P5 conferences.

Should I root for Jimbo Fisher? How far does ACC loyalty go to former ACC coaches and players?

If you’re going to be loyal, be loyal to former Duke DC Jim Knowles who is running the Oklahoma State defense.

I don't doubt the ACC as the worst P5....but this was a very respectable performance.

Not specific to this game, I see it all the time in college and the pros, but I feel like teams routinely wait too long to start running hurry-up/conserving clock when they are trailing in the 4th quarter.

What a way for Bud Foster to go into retirement.

Kentucky 37, Virginia Tech 30.

Kentucky executes a 8 and a half minute drive to win. ACC falls to 4-4 in bowl games.

Not an ACC game but I am settled in and ready to watch Navy vs Kansas State in the Liberty Bowl.

Go NAVY!

ASU 20, FSU 14

Yea. But the Kentucky drive was literally the last time a college team operated against a Bud Foster coached defense and they went 85 yards for the winning score.

Texas killing Utah was unexpected. All this game showed me was how bad a DC Todd Orlando was this year.

Very surprised Utah turtled so quickly. Should have been 38-3.

Tulane about to wrap up the Armed Forces Bowl after spotting USM the first 13 points, then scoring the next 30. Still not a fan of their (putrid) shade of their blue uniforms, but shout out for a dominating performance after the first quarter.
