Tony Bennett would kill to coach this team. Also, Tre Jones needs to be on this team.

An All Decade Team is extremely difficult to name:
PG: Tyus Jones
SG: Jon Scheyer
SF: Kyle Singler
PF: Brandon Ingram
C: Marvin Bagley
Bench: Justice Winslow
Bench: Amile Jefferson

Bob, you can’t have an all decade Duke team without Zion. You just can’t! LGD GTHc!

No Zion??!?!?!
He didn’t demand the ball at crunch time. I’ve stuck him over in the corner with Ralph Sampson.

But Justice and Amile... those were the epitome of "give me the ball and get out of my way" players in the final few minutes of the game. Yup, that works ;)

Yeah, Matt was my not-sure pick. I needed a SF and wasn't sure Scheyer or Andre fit the bill. Maybe going with Zion at SF, Amile at PF, and Zoubek at C would have brought it home.

My attempt at this:
Positionless Team
Zion
Kyrie
Tatum
Winslow
Grayson
Bench
Jon
Singler
Nolan

Let's throw some tall guys who can pretty much all handle the ball, score, shoot from outside, and defend well out there and wish any opposing team good luck...
PG: Ingram
SG: Scheyer
SF: Tatum
PF: Zion
C: Carter
Bench: Singler, Winslow
(weakest link defensively here is likely Tatum... to be honest, Bagley, RJ, and Kyrie are REALLY hard to keep off an all-decade Duke team)
How about an all one-and-done team of the decade?
PG: Kyrie
SG: RJ
SF: Ingram
PF: Zion
C: Bagley
Bench: Tatum, Winslow [Okafor, Carter, Tyus ... this is just an obscene embarrassment of riches, when you think about it ...]

Here's mine:
Scheyer (G)
Nolan (G)
Winslow (F)
Zion (F)
Bagley (F)
This is the one that immediately came to mind when thinking of the starting 5 that would best complement one another and be positioned to have the most team success.
Some of my friends suggested Kyrie or Tyus over Scheyer, Jabari/Ingram/Tatum/Barrett over Winslow and Carter/Okafor over Bagley. I think Scheyer is a better defender than the other 2 PGs and Winslow's swiss knife skillset just complements the other studs better.
Who do you guys have?
There’s been a bit of this floating around the interwebs this week.
Hardest question to answer is where does the shooting come from?
Zion
Bagley
Winslow
would be my locks.
Who do you choose from Tyus, Kyrie, Scheyer, Kennard, Ingram, and maybe Grayson and Singler? Where do Tre and Vernon fit in? RJ? Carter?
I guess I’d go with Tyus and Scheyer.
The most fun starting five certainly was last years.
Lots of heartburn leaving off Kyrie and Singler.
Best part about this discussion is so many versatile players to choose from. Even a top ten or fifteen players would create a team for which there would be no real competition.
Ask me again tomorrow and I’d probably come up with a list of different names and reasons why.

Tyus for leadership, defense and clutchness.
Luke for sweet, sweet 3 point shooting.
Tatum for buckets and broken plays.
Zion for Zion.
Carter as a big who can play inside and out, rebound and defend.
Bench would be Ingram, Winslow and Bagley since Coach K won't go more than 8 deep.

1. Kyrie Irving
2. Nolan Smith
3. Brandon Ingram
4. Zion Williamson
5. Jahlil Okafor

1. Nolan Smith
2. Grayson Allen
3. RJ Barrett
4. Zion Williamson
5. Marvin Bagley III
That's 5 guys that can get you a bucket and have the athleticism to recover. And I think Bagley at the 5 would have been less of a defensive liability. Grayson was at his best when he was off the ball. An alarmingly athletic group of players.

If we allow Kyrie in then he easily takes Tyus down to the bench. Kyrie just seemed too easy

An interesting twist on this is having an all-decade multi-year and all-decade one-and-done team.
The all-decade multi-year team:
PG: Nolan Smith
SG: Grayson Allen
SF: Kyle Singler
PF: Amile Jefferson
C: Mason Plumlee
The all-decade one-and-done team:
PG: Tyus Jones
SG: RJ Barrett
SF: Jayson Tatum
PF:Zion Williamson
C: Marvin Bagley III
Some tough choices there on both teams. It was really hard to leave off Quinn Cook, Ryan Kelly, and Luke Kennard from the multi-year teams. And for the one-and-done teams, I had to leave off Jahlil Okafor, Brandon Ingram, Justise Winslow, Jabari Parker, Wendell Carter, Jr., and others.
I came across this Youtube video... top 10 Duke games of the decade. Nice memories...
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e1d_qJQNUO8
I think some of these games were mentioned in the podcast....
