To confirm all the above; met a new couple on my street. Within 20 seconds of meeting, they told me they met at Karlinah, his dad and grandfather went to Karlinah and they won national championship while both in school (think 93). I guess they thought they were impressing me😡

I screwed up pretending to be “sports oblivious” and asked if they went to sporting events there. OMG, they took off on a Julius Peppers greatest of all time rant and then moved on LT parables. My wife left me there hanging and in a 15 minute discussion they never asked me if I got past high school or anything related to my life. Finally, confessed to being a Duke fan and they literally dry wretched. I walked away a they’re still on the street looking for someone else to impress. These are the dangers and drawbacks of living in the Triangle.

My only regret, I wish I’d asked “Peaches” which shift she worked at WalMart.

Goodness, I hope you're right. I don't like our chances at all against Wake. They look just better than Duke in every aspect. We need to beat Syracuse and Miami to make a bowl IMO.

Virginia played great for almost (but not quite) 3 quarters, before slipping back into our usual ways and tried to hand over the win. But the team appeared to realize the game wasn’t just about them. The game was for everyone who thinks Carolina Sucks, and they held on JUST enough to not lose.

Played great? Did you see the defensive product we put on the field? Yikes. If we had played great, we would have won about 38-17. The offense was bad from the middle of the 1st to late in the 2nd, and the defense was mediocre to bad for the bulk of the game. We'll have to be better to win out (Home vs GT, Home vs Liberty, Home vs VT)..... ok, maybe not MUCH better, but better.
