LOL. NCS was #5 in the nation in rushing defense entering the game, 66 yds per game. They gave up more than 200 in the 2nd quarter today.

Both of BC's running backs just need another touch each and they'll be 150+ yards each. It's not like BC is starting a walk-on QB, who in four games has a 38% pass completion and 132 total yards....in four games.

I'm thinking if I'm an NC State coach, I make sure that QB doesn't beat us and focus on stopping their potent BC air game...after all their mascot is the eagle so their air attack must be good. Just a thought.

Georgia Tech and Miami tied at 21 headed to the 4th quarter. I’ve been watching Clemson - Louisville but the Tigers are rolling so I switched the channel.

BC now has 420 rushing yards against #5 rushing D. Pack is actually a poor Power 5 team. They’ve won 3 OOC games against poor teams: East @ West Carolina and Ball State and ugly game at home against Syracuse which appears to be the cellar dweller in the Atlantic Division. They’ve been routed by a not good WVU, BC and FSU.

Pack may not be favored again this year (@ Ga T maybe) and may not be bowl eligible despite very weak schedule. Anyway, Drinkwitz likely responsible for their success in previous 3 years and Doreen obviously needs coaching help.

It looks like GT - Miami is going to go to overtime. What is the protocol for our game?

Miami loses at home to Ga Tech on a controversial 4th down measurement in overtime. Sweet to see the Canes get the short end of ACC officiating for a change.

I hope to hear a LOT of plaintive crying from those U-tards.

...and I think they did...I think forward progress on the pass was more the 3 yard line. He had it in his right hand and arm on the catch, near the three. To my eye, the receiver did not move back on his own...he did spin, but the backwards movement was caused by the defender. Poor mark.

If he did reach the line with his forward progress and the officials screwed the Canes with a bad call, that just makes the outcome even sweeter.

I think that's exactly what happened.....and no, I will not lose sleep over it.

5th...

And VT should have won with a FG at the end of the 4th OT, but Mack called a TO just as VT kicked it. Then the VT kicker missed the retry.
Am I the only one watching this game, or is it on another thread?

VT beats UNC in 6th OT 43-41!!! I missed the 5th OT and turned back to the game in time to see the VT score in 6Th OT. I guess the rule is that they go to 2 point conversions by the 5th or 6th OT? Anybody know the rules?

Starting in the 5th, straight to two point conversions from the 3 yard line. Both teams were horrible on their first attempt....this is new this year

Thanks! I thought that must be the rule, but didn’t remember it from past years.

Four missed field goals in the OT's for the Chookies and Cheats. Glad the Cheaters choked more!

I wonder what the record is for consecutive scoreless OT periods. Three is probably not far off the mark (one, of course, being the first conversion-only OT).
