No disrespect to Sam's impressions but I am much more interested in listening to the football preview.

The Jones/Manning dynamic reminds me of the Baltimore Ravens last season; the incumbent Joe Flacco was a cornerstone of the franchise and had won them a super bowl, but there also had always been questions around whether he was truly “elite” and he was getting up in years. His massive contract was awarded largely as repayment for past services, but now he was overpaid and the team knew that it was only a matter of time before the reins would be handed over to Lamar Jackson. I agree with your guest’s take that if the Giants struggle out of the gate then fans will be calling for Jones to start. Something that went unmentioned was how his teammates would react in such a scenario, many of whom may be loyal to Manning.
