No more Shreveport or Detroit

Also looks like they got rid of the tiering system of the bowls - would be interesting to see how that actually shapes out when it comes for bowl selection

I've visited Boston during that time of year and it is really pretty with snow on the ground. I would take a trip to Boston 100 times out of 100 versus a game in Shreveport.

Duke football...killing ACC bowl berths one at a time. :(

1989 All-American Bowl. The bowl ended in 1990 with NCSU after 1 Duke visit.
1994 Hall of Fame Bowl. The bowl retooled without ACC teams the next year after 1 Duke visit.
2013 Peach/Chick-Fil-A Bowl. The bowl retooled without ACC teams the next year after 1 Duke visit.
2017 Detroit Bowl. Ended ACC relationship in 2020 after 1 Duke visit.
2018 Independence Bowl. Ended ACC relationship in 2020 after 1 Duke visit.

5/8 of our last bowl games invited us and then dropped the ACC or shut down. Since I don't think we'll get the Music City Bowl this year to complete the list, bring on the Orange Bowl. :p

The 2013 Peach Bowl was a smashing success by any standard....big crowd, big ratings, big points, dramatic finish....

That bowl also didn’t drop the ACC and sign up with another conference; it was promoted into the top tier of bowls.
