Love it... and if they needed another reason not to like us... they just got one.

Can't help but feel sorry that JJ never won a national championship... he deserved one.

I wish they put all 3 Plumlees together in one shot for the "We are Champions" part. Awesome video, though. Go Duke!

But it causes me to wonder. Has this team done any floor slaps? I don't remember seeing any this season. Are they worried Zion will break the floor?

I haven't seen any. I don't think it's the "cool" thing to do anymore.

There is a concern that Zion would push the Earth out of its orbit.

I think the only other coach they got was Amaker, who isn't in the tournament. I bet they couldn't put Hurley or Dawkins or Wojo in their because it wouldn't look good if they were pretty much pulling for Duke to win a championship when they're in the tournament.

CC not in there either, but not in the tournament.

They've been putting that together for like 3 years, so it's just kind of strange.

lol. i think they would have to introduce a class on "zionian mechanics" as this would definitely require a new physical model...

Bringing this back to the top. I’ve looked at this at least 10 times over the last 48 hours. As a Duke fan, if this doesn’t get your adrenaline running then you have no heartbeat. :) Hopefully we put on a show today.

Your comment made me think. The 86 Loss to Louisville was the one I hated the most for any Duke team. I agree about JJ. Another player.. Danny Ferry. He was a great college basketball player. I hated seeing him get so close and never get the ring.

Er...it was a nice little homage to floor slapping, but it looked more like a gentle floor Pat, and while the pregame team slap/pat was a nice tribute that is pretty obviously not what people mean when they say they miss the floor slap...

It is at ~30 seconds in for anyone that wants to see/missed it whenever it happened live.
