I guess I'm new enough to DBR to not understand "Thread is Closed." Not saying that I disagree, just asking for clarification. Any help? Thanks.

Closing a thread means that no new posts can be added to it, but posts are still available for reading. Moderators will close threads when they feel that further discussion serves no purpose, or the thread has deviated far enough from its original purpose that a new thread should be started and the old closed.
