Thanks for starting this thread devildeac. But just counting basketball and football. OZZIE4DUKE is 1-1. What Ozzie said, but ad infinitum. Call me crazy, but I still feel confident going into this game with Jack once again hitting from outside and Alex upping his game (all around in my opinion...not just offensively). We will certainly miss all that Zion brings to the table and let's be honest - that's a lot. Assuming we play better defense this time around (don't believe we can play much worse defensively than we did the first time) and we hit from the outside, I still like our chances.

By the way, speaking of Jack - his defense on the last shot by Wake Forest was very impressive. While that potential winning shot was close to the basket, Jack's defense was excellent. He went up strong, made a close range shot very difficult, and did it all without fouling (critical of course since we were ahead by only 1). As much as I love seeing him sink 3 pointers, I also really enjoy watching him snag crucial rebounds, play tough defense, and get timely blocks.

But back to the game at hand - let's take care of business tonight. Go Blue Devils!

We actually played pretty damn good defense last time around, 88 points on 86 possessions and a Tre Jones smother job on Coby White (3-14, 3 assists to 6 turnovers).

Obviously, Maye had a field day, partially attributable to Zion's unexpected absence.

We just have to watch the turnovers, especially from RJ, whom I think is just trying to get other players involved.
