He was an associate AD at Duke and his father used to be commissioner of the ACC. Born to the breed.

Gene Corrigan, of course, is a Duke alum. Played lacrosse.

- yes, he is Gene's son
- I didn't realize he was associate AD at Duke from 2008-2011, before that he was at his alma mater Notre Dame for 4 years and Navy for a few years before that.
- He comes to State from Army, where he was AD from 2011-present
- His brother Kevin is lacrosse coach at Notre Dame

Seems like a good hire.
