Warren Zevon - Werewolves Of London

Witchy Woman - Eagles

More than a Feeling - Boston (because the opening lyrics are, "I woke up this morning and the sun was gone." If you woke up one morning and the sun was really gone, it would be very scary.....and dark. And in the darkness, vampires would likely come out, making it even scarier.)

I've got a .38 special up on the shelf
I'll sleep when I'm dead
If I start acting stupid
I'll shoot myself
I'll sleep when I'm dead

-- I'll Sleep When I'm Dead

Roland the headless Thompson gunner
Norway's bravest son
Time, time, time
For another peaceful war
But time stands still for Roland
'Til he evens up the score
They can still see his headless body stalking through the night
In the muzzle flash of Roland's Thompson gun

-- Roland the Headless Thompsen Gunner

He took little Suzie to the Junior Prom
Excitable boy, they all said
And he raped her and killed her, then he took her home
Excitable boy, they all said
Well, he's just an excitable boy
After ten long years they let him out of the home
Excitable boy, they all said
And he dug up her grave and built a cage with her bones
Excitable boy, they all said
Well, he's just an excitable boy

-- Excitable Boy

Grandpa pissed his pants again
He don't give a damn
Brother Billy has both guns drawn
He ain't been right since Vietnam
"Sweet home Alabama"
Play that dead band's song
Turn those speakers up full blast
Play it all night long
Daddy's doing Sister Sally
Grandma's dying of cancer now
The cattle all have brucellosis
We'll get through somehow

-- Play it All Night Long

Got a Glock in the bedside table
Machine gun leaning by the bedroom door
Kevlar vest in the closet
Well, I wear it when I go to the store
Don't knock on my door
If you don't know my Rottweiler's name
Well, he's dreaming about an intruder or two
And the promise of burglar blood
He's yearning to chew on a gangster tattoo
And to hear the proverbial sickening thud

-- Rottweiler Blues

I can saw a woman in two
But you won't want to look in the box when I do

-- For My Next Trick I'll Need a Volunteer

Whoaa! Those are scary! And great!

Really? I thought of them in the "scary, my god that man should be locked up" sort of way, not the ha-ha-funny Halloween scary.

Nightmare on My Street (DJ Jazzy Jeff & Fresh Prince)

Walking on the Water (CCR)

I think Warren Zevon is an acquired taste. Trust me, he was never a dangerous man (well, maybe to himself), and he certainly isn't now.

Warren Zevon said in an interview that he hated "Werewolves". "Lawyers, Guns and Money" can be pretty frightful.

I like nearly anything from Pink Floyd.

Especially, "Careful with that axe Eugene." Used to play this very, very loudly with the speakers on my window sills every Halloween night as the little monsters traipsed through the neighborhood. The prolonged scream in the middle of this is chilling...

Nothing compares to MONSTER MASH as a Halloween song.

Excellent choice. Nobody screams like Roger Waters.
