Who was Duke's Man of the Match in the win over Indiana tonight?

Zion is a great talent and is unstoppable. I voted for him but also recognize that Tre is playing great on both sides of the ball.

I split my vote. Zion here, Tre on the main story poll. Both had great nights!

Was it only 5? I thought he had at least 7. It felt like 50.

I'm not going to rewatch, but IIRC (not always reliable:o), there were 2 or 3 more plays where he had finger-rolls or lay-ups that *could* have been dunked. I voted for Zion but also realize that Tre had a very good game.

Tre played great, but Zion did some things that just made me giggle to myself....and I appreciate that.

I voted for Jones, who just seems to do the right thing all the time and is always under control. I will be sad when he isn't playing for us anymore.

But Williamson is a fine choice too. He does things that shouldn't be humanly possible. I will be sad when he isn't playing for us anymore, too.

Normally I would chastise someone for such a quisling gutless move (J/K) - in this case, a FINE choice sir!

I would vote for K. Coaching the bejeebus out of them when they came out complacent in that second half...tearing the Canali suit coat off, flinging it to the manager.

And with a 20 pt lead!

Oh, forgot the confab he had with Eades and Roger. The two of them knew they had screwed up. K making the sign of the cross and shrugging his shoulders as if to say, "I'm praying for my guys to stay safe under the basket!"

And for gosh sake, how could they not see the ball hit the rim on replay. Shot clock should have been reset. But as Bilas said, it was a nice move to stop the clock and let the Hoosier bench guy get in the game with a few seconds on the clock. Eades pretended to wipe up some water on the court. GoDuke!

The same way "they" couldn't see sean may's (?) left upper hoof on the end line vs Gonzaga in the FF a couple years ago. (other minds may disagree or remember differently :o:rolleyes:)

I'm pretty sure the shot clock does not reset on a pass that hits the rim. Has to be a "shot".

A "try for goal", but yes. Generally, though, when someone hoists the ball towards the goal, refs deem it a "try", without trying to decide if it was a failed alley-oop. Had he been fouled in the act of ... whatever, he'd probably have been given two shots...
