In the news today, biologists are investigating a plague like explosion of frogs and toads, due to standing water left by Florence. The critters are turning up in homes, cars, even hopping onto people from the roofs of their houses!https://www.charlotteobserver.com/news/local/article219663830.html

Between the mosquitoes and the frogs it sounds like NC is 20% of the way to the 10 plagues. Then you can factor in the red tide in Florida this summer (water turned to blood), the eclipse last summer (darkness), and I'm starting to stretch it a bit but you get the point...

Hope everyone is OK down there.

Yuck.

It'd be even worse if this showed up down east:

Let's see....

Plague #1 - Undrinkable water, fish dying, the stink - Check
Plague #2 - Frogs - Check!
Plague #3 - Lice - not yet
Plague #4 - Creatures capable of harming people and livestock (giant skeeters) - Check!
Plague #5 - Death to the livestock (millions of chickens and pigs dead) - Check!
Plague #6 - Boils - not yet
Plague #7 - Thunderstorm of hail and fire - not yet
Plague #8 - Locusts - not yet
Plague #9 - Darkness for three days - when is the next eclipse?

It's getting real for down east NC. We have about half the list checked off.

Who needs an eclipse when you've got power outages?
