This weekend, I tried to watch the GoDuke scrimmage interviews, both players and Cut. While the video was fine, the sound was terribly distorted. I could understand very little. I don't experience that with videos from other online sources.

Is this confined to just me, or have others noticed it?

They work fine for me. You might have to disable an ad blocker if you're using one.

What browser were you using?

Tried all three browsers, Firefox, Chrome and Safari. Same result, hence my question. Only Firefox has an adblocker

The usual question: have you restarted your computer?

What happens if you use bluetooth or wired headphones?

What happens if you listen on a phone/tablet?

Play it backwards - maybe Paul is dead.

Backwards was good. I finally understood the lyrics of "Louie, Louie."

Using my wife's iPad, I could hear it well. That defaults to Safari.

Back to the macbook. The distortion disappeared with the wired headphones. But...there is a lot of background talking picked up by the recording mic. The headphones and iPad adjusted for that; it was much noisier with the macbook's speaker and still distorted.

My macbook doesn't have any Bluetooth device to pair it with for a/v purposes, so nothing to report there.
