So am I the only one who received the uNC magazine instead of the Duke magazine this week?

Robin Hood completely covers up the L. I spent a good couple minutes wondering what "Stea" meant.

I had the same issue. Generally, the whole covering text with a graphic--especially when the text is the name of the magazine--is not a design decision that makes much sense to me.

He’s making an “L” with his arm.

Yeah, I'm not really seeing that.

The "L" is implied. Expressly. Just like the 88 on OPK's new Duke FB jersey really is a 9F that has been disguised with strategically placed white tape.

(I'll shut the door on my way out. :o)

Robin Hood did not cheat or lie. Why slander the good man (assuming, of course, you're otherwise chill with morally-ambiguous theft)?

Which reminds me of the Monty Python skit about Dennis Moore:

Duke Mag has been lame since they tossed the class notes onto the web listing.

It usually lasts about five minutes and then goes into the recycling pile. Boring.

Good points. Here's a very rough mock-up (Paint has its limitations) of a more appropriate cover. You've got the arm 'L' and Robin Hood's honor and reputation remains unsullied.

They can all/always go to "L."
