I remember him from the days when I was living at Fort Knox and the Louisville Courier-Journal was daily reading.

Your mentioning Foster prompted me to realize that, with his death 2ya, and the deaths of Bubas and McGeachy just this year, Bucky Waters (82) is the only living former president of Duke MBB.

Of course, that's the sort of thing that happens when one guy holds down the fort for four decades.
