According to this blurb, Trajan and Shane are under consideration for the Pistons' Head of Basketball Operations:

Maybe there is something to a Duke degree.

Trajan makes more sense as he is a much more seasoned front office executive. Shane is the hometown boy but only just getting started. I think he'd be smart to stick in Miami for a while to get further seasoning.

Plus he was a mathematics major!

I will need to stay calm and accept the fact that the 'Stons will likely screw this whole thing up. And, at the same time, hope either is interested in the job.

Apparently, the Pistons are considering Becky Hammond. Kinda cool ...

As an SA resident, I will note it is Hammon.

But the Pistons NEED "d"

Then Shane is the obvious answer!

This part of the article was especially interesting: "The Heat created a new position for Battier 15 months ago, and he could assume a more prominent role in a post-Pat Riley era with Miami."

Likely Trajan too smart to go to Pistons. They're interviewing old Duke hater Juwan Howard for coach.

Just misery, misery, misery.

Kenny Smith. Misery indeed.

A LOT of TV personalities with NO coaching experience go straight to head coaching and thrive …

Other than Steve Kerr, I just can't seem to remember any.

Kenny's no Kerr.

Maybe he could get Chuckles Barkley and the Laugh Shaq to be assistants, heavy emphasis on the first syllable.
