That's actually the ESPN Power rankings. We are second in "also receiving votes" in both the AP and Coaches' polls this week (http://www.espn.com/college-football/rankings/_/week/5/year/2017/seasontype/2), so effectively 27th. Still pretty good.

We will be underdogs in Vegas to Miami and FSU, despite being at home. There's one way to prove you're a team worthy of ranking -- on the field.

Oh, and UVA will not be an easy trip. We will probably be a slight favorite absent major injuries between then and now. But not much wider than the Heel spread, if at all.

We are to Miami (by a respectable 5.5 points according to Bob Green) but if we win that game, we won't be underdogs to FSU. Their game against Wake this weekend is going to be telling for both teams.

Duke remains a 5.5 points underdog. Wake opened a 9.5 points underdog to FSU with the line now at 7.5 points. Carolina opened as a 10 points underdog to GT with the line now at 9.5 points. VT opened as a 7 points underdog to Clemson with the line now at 6.5 points.

If my facts are correct, it's worth noting that Duke has never beaten FSU in football (0-17 lifetime), and is the only member of the ACC with that dubious distinction. None of the games between Duke and FSU have been close, with the smallest margin of victory 19 points (25-6 in 2007). If the streak is to fall, this year is an absolutely golden opportunity to break it, as we're up and they are down.
