Duke All Purpose Yards in a single season:

1. Chris Douglas - 1,849 (2001)
2. Jamison Crowder - 1,832 (2013)
3. Shaun Wilson - 1,620 (2016)

With his explosive 260 yard performance against Baylor, Shaun Wilson has 444 All Purpose Yards through three games. Here is the breakdown:

Rushing - 293
Receiving - 36
Punt Return - (-12)
Kick Return - 127
Interception Return - 0
Total - 444

Shoring up his performance returning punts would definitely help Shaun's cause to break the record. This will be an interesting statistic to track and discuss throughout the season.

Brittain Brown is slightly behind Wilson with 357.

Rushing - 235
Receiving - 84
Punt Return - 0
Kick Return - 38
Interception Return - 0
Total - 357

How many games did Douglas play in? Haven't most teams added another game per season since his time?

Yes. There were 11 regular season games in 2001 (Duke went 0-11). Starting with the 2002 season, teams play 12 regular season games. Teams playing more games effects all records in all sports.

While Douglas had one less game to play in, he had FAR FAR FAR more kickoff return opportunities than Wilson or Brown will have. Let's hope so, anyway! LGD GTHc!

Oh, yeah, I need to start that thread! GTHc! GTHc! GTHc! 9F!

Army gives up a lot of yards on the ground (especially considering how much they dominate time of possession), so he could get back on track next game.
