Article in the NYT today about shenanigans at FSU. Like at UNC, a whistleblower was bus-tossed, plagiarized work for joke courses was turned in late or not at all, athletes were given special treatment, and jock-sniffing professors allowed it to happen. Plus the school got to decide if anything was amiss and, shockingly, did not. The major difference I can see is that the classes were "real". But so what? The model is clearly broken. Swood and Stray Gator: I'd be interested in your takes.

Possibly the best, most responsive response, of all time!

There's not a single thing in the original story I found to be surprising.

If I recall correctly, the GA football whistleblower case also ended in tragedy. It's complete madness.
