IL is reporting that the former Hoya has been accepted to grad school at Duke and will play the 2018 season with the Blue Devils. He can play either attack or midfield, and had 120 career points, including a 45-point senior season. He has a year of eligibility left due to a medical redshirt granted after a season-ending injury (suffered against Duke, IIRC) in 2015.
This is a big pickup for Duke. Like Brad Smith, Conley is a do-it-all, Swiss-Army-Knife guy. He could fill the attack slot vacated by Jack Bruckner, or he could slot into the second midfield, allowing John Prendergast to return to SSDM. He also could be the core of a dangerous third midfield.
