So, which Duke basketball player would you choose to be stranded with? Should be a more pleasing prospect.

I would say Grant Hill. By all accounts, a stand-up guy, well-read, friendly-almost-to-a-fault... and we could just talk about the alley-oop from Hurley against Kansas over and over again.

Second place is Nate James, because he would somehow find a way off the island.

Chris Carrawell.

Represents one of the best Duke stories.
Rough background, figured out how to be successful in school.
Overcame injuries that could have been career ending.
Guarded every position on the floor...including Tim Duncan.

Grew his skills to become ACC player of the year.

Initiated the only Duke basketball moment that inspired me to tears, when he came out of his last game for Duke, and hugged Coach K while bawling.

Definitely top of my list of Duke players I'd want to know.
