Final Four Officials

Many of this year's FF Officials are familiar to Duke/ACC fans:

Mike Eades(Princeton, WV native/played on HS team with former Dukie Allen Williams)
Doug Sirmons("did" the Duke-South Carolina game)
John Higgins(unc-UK game/death threats from UK "fans")
Ron Groover(has officiated in many ACC games)
Ted Valentine(TV Ted/"my reffing's the thing")
Jeff Anderson
Michael Stephens
Tony Padilla
Verne Harris

With nine selectees, I guess that all of the above will officiate one game in the FF(but some could just be alternates).

Obviously, Sirmons should not have been chosen. Or, maybe rugby-style basketball is what they want in the FF.

unc drew the only Final Four official who has worked two of its losses this season: Ron Groover(unc 5-2 in games in he's worked this season). unc is 5-1 in games officiated by Mike Eades, 5-0 in games with TV Ted Valentine, 3-0 with Doug Sirmons, 2-0 with John "the roof is the ceiling" Higgins, and 1-0 with Michael Stephens. Not sure this information is of much value, however.
