As most of you know, Duke reached the NCAA Baseball Tournament for the first time since 1961 last spring.

The new season is not off to a great start. Duke lost its first two games Friday to Gonzaga and No. 17 Oregon State. The Devils fell to 0-3 Saturday with a 5-1 loss to Gonzaga again.

All three games so far were played on neutral fields in Surprise, Ariz.

We'll see how the season goes. Any baseball news can go in this thread.

Obviously not a lot of interest at the moment, but Duke's baseball team fighting to overcome an 0-4 start.

The Diamond Devils got it back to 7-6 with a four-game sweep of Princeton, but blew a late 4-2 lead today at Liberty and lost 8-4 to drop back to 7-7.

Duke is going to have to be very good in ACC play to make a second straight NCAA trip.

I know no one pays attention to this until after basketball if over, but the Duke baseball team completed a significant series Saturday by winning 2 of 3 from Virginia Tech.

That improves Duke's overall record to 10-8 and 2-1 in the ACC.
